I wanted to confirm...in the standard rooms, there is a small refrigerator and NO coffee pot. Is that correct. Other than the resort, is there a market to buy basic groceries like milk, water, soda, yogurt?

    Hey, Julie-

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and to Walt Disney World Resort: the "east side" of Disney.

All Walt Disney World Resort hotels have a complimentary mini-fridge in the room as of a few of years ago. Villas do have a larger refrigerator. This is a perfect way to store leftovers, soft drinks and even medicine. We love buying water bottles and storing them in the mini-fridge so we have cold water for the next day. We also use the mini-fridge to store the huge desserts we have left over after dining at Walt Disney World Resort restaurants. Ask your server for a “To-Go” box and enjoy the sweet treat on another day.

Each Resort hotel has a place to purchase a variety of sundries. I would suggest looking at Gardengrocer.com if you plan to make a large grocery purchase. They will deliver to your Resort hotel for a reasonable price. One time we needed cereal and had to purchase from the on-site market. It cost me $25.00. Yikes!

Coffee makers and coffee service is available at all Moderate, Deluxe Resort hotels and any Value Resort Suite.

Disney Dad Tip: While you are enjoying Awaken Summer, you may want to bring your Rapid Fill Resort mug into the parks to refill water if you do not have water bottles in the room. Water is currently $3.00/bottle. Counter/Quick-Service Restaurants will give you a free cup of ice water if you ask and you may then transfer that to your mug to keep it cold longer.

Julie, enjoy making many Magical Memories!
