Welcome to planDisney, Hardeep!
We are so happy to hear a Walt Disney World vacation is in your future. Hopefully you'll feel like your upcoming trip will be made in the shade after we chat about chilling out at the House of Mouse.
Frozone would totally love this question because he's all about keeping it cool! You'll be happy to hear that ALL
Disney Resort hotels have air conditioning. Frankly, the Florida heat makes air conditioning a basic necessity when it comes to hotel amenities. Believe me, you are not sweating the small stuff because central air conditioning is always a big deal when I travel with my family.
The beauty of staying in a Disney Resort hotel is being so close to the magic! That means it's also easy to return to your resort from the parks during the hottest part of the day for some time poolside. My family's all-time favorite pools are
Stormalong Bay at Disney's Beach Club and Disney's Yacht Club Resorts and the
Lava Pool at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.
Since we're talking about beating the heat while on vacation, be sure to stay hydrated as you fill your days with Disney fun. Here's a cool tip: Guests can get complimentary cups of water at any Walt Disney World Resort
quick-service restaurant. You are also welcome to bring your own non-glass water bottles to the theme parks with you.
My idea of chilling out includes having a
DOLE Whip® from Aloha Isle at Magic Kingdom or a Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar. And of course, don’t miss the many water-based attractions like
Kali River Rapids at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom’s Splash Mountain for that cool off moment.
Swim back to planDisney as you continue to envision your SPLASHTASTIC vacation. We will be happy to dive into your planning questions!
See ya real soon!
