Welcome to planDisney, Sean.
Thanks for choosing to be our Guest. As a Disney dad with two young Mouseketeers, I know all too well the importance of having a good stroller. With all the walking, running, jumping, and (sometimes) falling, those tiny legs need a break every now and then. I also find that a stroller is handy for storing our bags and other personal belongings. In fact, I don't know what I'll do
without a stroller once my kids grow out of it!
Sean, as a parent who brings a double-stroller to the Walt Disney World Resort, I've done a fair bit of research on this question. The doorways into the
Disney Skyliner gondolas are 30" in width, allowing single strollers and double strollers that are front to back (not side-by-side) to enter and stay open. However, I've been told by Cast Members that side-by-side double strollers must be folded prior to boarding for the safety of Guests. We own a side-by-side double stroller and, therefore, we'll have to go through the inconvenience of folding and unfolding when we visit this spring. However, it does seem like a Mocking Bird Single-to-Double Stroller should fit in the gondola just fine since it's a front-to-back double stroller.
I hope that's clarifying, Sean. Here's a tip: My young kids are sensitive to loud noises. Therefore, we bring some noise-canceling ear muffs with us on our Disney trips. This allows our kiddos to enjoy the
nighttime spectaculars!
Thanks for stopping by
planDisney, Sean. See ya real soon!
