I wanted to buy the Disneyland gift card from Costco. Can the same giftcard be shared between my daughters on seperate devices?

Hi Joshua! Thanks for bringing your gift card question to planDisney.

I love using Disney Gift Cards to pay for fun souvenirs, using the Merchandise Mobile Checkout, and quickly grabbing some food with Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering at Disneyland Resort. It helps me budget my purchases, and if I register my card on the Disney Gift Card website, the balance is transferable to another card if I physically lose the original. Giving your daughters a gift card sounds like a great plan for your trip.

They can share the card between themselves, however, there is no way to store gift card numbers on the Disneyland mobile app. I wish there was! Currently, whenever you make a purchase, it is necessary to enter the card's unique gift card number. Since you'd like them to share the same card, I'd suggest saving the numbers on your daughters' devices in the notes section. From notes, the number can be copied and pasted into the Disneyland mobile app at the time of payment. That might actually be easier than digging for a card or printout anyway. One thing to remember: if the balance on the card can't cover the transaction, the remainder must go on the credit or debit card on file in your Disneyland mobile app. So, they'll want to communicate with each other about their spending over the course of the trip.

I hope you and your family have a fantastic time!
