Thanks for visiting planDisney! Your Disneyland trip is just around the riverbend! I’m so excited that you'll be visiting during the
70th anniversary celebration. There is so much magic awaiting guests!
As you mentioned, Disneyland has announced a
Paint the Night Dining Package at the
Plaza Inn. This dining package does include a Paint the Night-themed dessert. Then guest can return for the first showing of the
Paint the Night parade to sit in a reserved viewing area. I had an easier time looking up this dining package on my phone through the
Disneyland app than on my computer.
Over at Disney California Adventure, a
World of Color Dessert Party is being offered. I see the Dessert Party is
available through June 1 (currently unavailable May 13). Dining reservations can be made 60 days in advance, so check back on April 10 to see if reservations have opened up for your vacation dates. If you're having difficulty finding a reservation, I recommend checking back periodically over the next two months and daily during the week of your trip. People’s plans change and reservations may become available. We haven’t heard any news on whether the dessert selection will change to celebrate the new
World of Color: Happiness! show. It feels like more and more information is coming out every day about the 70th Anniversary and special offerings for the celebration. I highly recommend following
@DisneyEats on Instagram and checking the Disney Parks Blog regularly for updates.
I can’t wait to see World of Color: Happiness! It will feature music from Turning Red, A Goofy Movie, Tangled, and Encanto. These are all some of my favorite Disney movies. I really hope I can rock out to "I2I," and the Boyz II Men rendition of “Rainbow Connection” is sure to have the audience shedding a tear or two.
