Bright suns, Elliott! Welcome to planDisney.
So you plan on chartering a flight to
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, do you? I hope you're prepared for risk, danger, and adventure. The battle against the First Order is intense. Do you have what it takes to join the Resistance? Time will tell.
I'd encourage you to arrive at Batuu as close to sunrise as possible. It's quieter then, which means fewer Stormtroopers. You'll enjoy a safer (and quicker) entrance onto
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. If you survive, you can then enjoy a much-deserved beverage. There are a number of places to wet your whistle in Batuu.
Unfortunately,
Oga's Cantina is one of the most popular watering holes in the galaxy. Therefore, reservations fill up at a lightspeed pace. It seems that there is currently no availability for lunch on April 1. I'm sure that's not the news you wanted to hear, Elliott. However, all hope is not lost. Guests are often changing their plans. Therefore, if a Guest decides to cancel their reservation at Oga's Cantina then that time slot will become available again. This often happens a few days before the reservation, as Guests can cancel their reservations free of charge until then. So here's what I'd advise you to do: in the days leading up to April 1, keep checking availability at Oga's Cantina. Check multiple times a day. If you wake up in the middle of the night and need a sip of water, check again before you go back asleep. And who knows? You might get lucky. May the Force be with you.
Since you'll be in the Black Spire Outpost, you may as well visit the
Milk Stand. I'd be interested to know whether you prefer the Blue Milk or the Green Milk. If Oga's Cantina doesn't work out and you need somewhere to get some galactic grub, I'd highly recommend
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo. I visited this establishment on my last mission to Batuu and found it to be a delightful place to refuel. But then again, a delicious Ronto Wrap from
Ronto Roasters isn't a bad choice either. Either way, you have options.
Have you heard of the
Mobile Order service, Elliott? Using the My Disney Experience app, you can order your food ahead of time and pick it up at a time that's convenient to you. You can then find a place to sit and enjoy your meal.
I hope that information is helpful to you, Elliott. Have a wonderful trip. Till the Spires!
Mike
