Hi there, Felissa!
Your visit to the Disneyland Resort is just days away, and I love to see that you are planning out your evening with some extra magic. I rarely miss a performance of
Fantasmic! during a visit, so you've come to the right place with your question!
The
Fantasmic! Dining Packages are the way to go, in my book. A delicious meal paired with preferred viewing for a truly spectacular show. I don't love using my park time to arrive super early for shows, parades, or fireworks, so I am a big fan of the dining packages all around.
Rancho del Zocalo is a great option, especially when it comes to value. When booking this dining package, you are asked to select if you would like the 1st viewing or 2nd viewing for that evening. Depending on which selection you make, specific reservation times appear. Currently, those looking to see the 1st show are offered lunchtime reservations (11:00 AM to 3:30 PM), and those looking for the 2nd show are offered dinner timings (3:30 PM - 8:15 PM). I know that was not the news you were hoping to hear! I did speak with a Cast Member to see if there was anything you could do, and they recommended that you make a reservation for the time you can arrive and ask upon check-in if there are any vouchers still available for the first showing. I'm going to send along some extra pixie dust and wish upon a star that this works out for you!
With the 70th Anniversary in full swing, there are some additional dining packages that you might like to check out.
Plaza Inn is offering one for the
Paint the Night parade with dining hours between 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Over at California Adventure, you might enjoy the
World of Color Dessert Party, which allows you to enjoy your desserts while seated, watching the show! I have done both dining packages and found that the viewing experience was excellent! For World of Color, in particular, I loved getting to snack my way through the show!
Felissa, I hope this was helpful. If you have any more questions or just need a tip or two, we are always here for you at
planDisney. Magic awaits,
Tara
