Hello and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you've dropped by with your question.
From the moment my family and I first stepped aboard
Disney Cruise Line I could only think about the lyrics from the song sung by Cinderella when she croons,
"So this is love... so this is what makes life divine..." because we divine was the perfect word to describe our experience. From the smallest Disney touches around the ship to the
Broadway-caliber shows, we fell in love with cruising with Captain Mickey and I'm excited to chat with you about this vacation option!
Now, the quick answer to your question is that it depends on how much time is between booking your trip and setting sail. If you are a guest who plans trips in advance, you are able to
secure your booking with a deposit and pay over time, granted that you adhere to the final payment dates. Final payments are due at the following:
- For sailings between 1 and 5 nights in length, the final payment is due 90 days before your sail date.
- For sailings at least 6 nights or more, the final payment is due 120 days before your sail date.
So, for example, if you book a 5-night sailing six months in advance, you would put down your deposit, and have
approximately 3 months to pay on your balance before your final payment is due. If you are interested in
fall 2024 itineraries that were recently released, you would have even more time to pay as you wish leading up to your final payment due date.
I hope this helps as you're considering a Disney Cruise Line vacation. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to come on back. Your new pals here at planDisney would be more than happy to assist you!
