Hi, Noelle!
Welcome to planDisney! It's great to meet you.
I'm so sorry you weren't able to purchase tickets to
Oogie Boogie Bash — a Disney Halloween Party. I know from personal experience that buying tickets took a healthy dose of patience and some serious luck. They sold out so fast, and unfortunately there isn't a waitlist available for tickets. In the past, there have sometimes been small numbers of tickets available for same-day purchase, either from
Disneyland Resort Hotels or at the ticket booths at the main gate, but we don't know if that will be the case this year. If you are staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel I recommend asking at the front desk when you arrive if tickets may be available. I'm sorry I don't have better news for you!
I recommend planning to spend any
dates that the party is offered (such as October 3) in Disneyland Park, since Disney California Adventure Park will close early for the bash. You could also purchase
Park Hopper Tickets so you can move over to Disneyland Park when you have to leave Disney California Adventure Park due to the party.
While getting tickets to the party at this point isn't likely, there is SO much fun happening in both parks that you won't need party tickets to enjoy! Disneyland Park will have Jack Skellington in residence for
Haunted Mansion Holiday, and you can celebrate
Día de los Muertos in Frontierland and at the
Plaza de la Familia. I especially love the spirited decorations in Cars Land, watch for unique touches like movie posters and creative lighting when you visit
Luigi's Honkin' Haul-O-Ween and
Mater's Graveyard JamBOOree!
If you end your day in Disneyland Park then you'll get to see
Halloween Screams, a nighttime spectacular featuring the Disney villains doing what they do best...putting on a dramatic show! There will also be lots of seasonal treats and merchandise to enjoy. Watch the
Disney Parks Blog for updates! Earlier this year they shared a spooky post in my favorite series:
Disney Paper Parks! We have so much fun printing these crafts, and this time a ghost is definitely going to follow you home.
Noelle, I'm sorry you won't be partying with Oogie Boogie, but I hope you will still have a great time celebrating Halloween at the Disneyland Resort! Safe travels!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
