Hi moms! Wanted to ask when and how we get our magic bands after buying annual passes? As a Florida Resident I know they have to see proof that I live here but when do I get to order magic bands? After our first visit? I'm so confused. Thank you!

    Hi Lydia

Welcome to the Florida Resident Passholder family! Soon after purchasing your annual passes, you should see the opportunity to customize your MagicBands in your My Disney Experience account. When you log into your account, go the the MagicBands & Cards section to look for them.

When you arrive at Walt Disney World to activate your annual passes, you will need to visit a ticket window or Guest Relations location to show your proof of Florida residency. It will take just a few minutes, and then you will be on your way to a year of Disney fun.

If you have not received your new annual passholder MagicBands by the time you visit for the first time, you can bring along any MagicBands you might have that are still active and linked to your My Disney Experience account. They will work just fine until your new ones arrive.

We've been passholders for almost 20 years and are so excited about all the special benefits being offered until September 30, 2017 in celebration of Walt Disney World's 45th anniversary, including 20 percent merchandise discounts and an extra discount in 45 eateries throughout the theme parks and resorts. Make sure you check out all you are entitled to as a passholder.

    Enjoy!
