Hey there! Hi there, laaraib! I am so happy you stopped by planDisney so I can talk about the Most Magical Place on Earth during the most wonderful time of the year.
I really appreciate your question about fireworks. Watching
Happily Ever After at Cinderella Castle is the crowning moment of a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation. The
theme park hours and entertainment calendar currently shows Magic Kingdom Park will have
Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show on Sunday, December 22 and Monday, December 23, at 8:00 p.m. This fireworks spectacular is usually only for Guests attending
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, a special ticketed event. Being there the week of Christmas, it is a treat to see this without needing a party ticket.
The calendar also shows that you will get to enjoy Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade, another treat usually reserved for the special party event. I love this parade. While I typically start dancing when I hear music announcing the parade's arrival, this one has had a delicious gingerbread scent that warms my heart. Parades and fireworks are subject to change, so you can always check the calendar as the dates get closer.
One of my favorite things about this season at Walt Disney World is all the special touches. Did you know there are gingerbread houses at some of the resorts? I have heard Disney has confirmed these will return this year, but the list of resorts has yet to be released. I'll be watching the
Disney Parks Blog as more information is shared. In the past, the houses at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa have been stunning masterpieces and are definitely worth a hop off the Disney Monorail for a visit.
If you have any other questions, please come back by
planDisney. We're always happy to talk Disney!
See 'Ya Real Soon!
