Hi Maria! Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your great question.
I know that it can tiring for our feet to walk all of those steps throughout the
Disneyland Resort during our visit, but unfortunately,
electric scooters and other scooters are not allowed, and will not make it past security as you enter the
Downtown Disney District.
If you are looking for options to minimize all of the walking during your trip to the parks, there are
stroller rentals available if you have little Mouseketeers with you, or
ECV and Wheelchair rentals available. The rental location for both is outside the theme parks, just east of the Disneyland Park Main Entrance. They cannot be reserved in advance, so I highly recommend arriving early since the rentals are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
I know this probably was not the news you were hoping for, but I'm hoping that with some advanced planning, you'll be able to find a suitable alternative that will work for your family. We always try to take breaks throughout the day to rest our feet, and we even head back to our hotel in the afternoon for a midday rest! There are plenty of great places to recharge during the day, one of my favorites is the Animation Building in Hollywood Land in
Disney California Adventure Park where you can see sketches of your favorite movies come to life!
Maria, if we can help with any other questions, please do not hesitate to
come back to planDisney and ask!
Have a magical day!
Melissa
