Hello. Wanted to ask if we could bring a carry-on bag with Essentials in to Typhoon Lagoon. Please elaborate. Thank you.

Hi David! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

A day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park sounds like a splash-tacular time! I can't think of a better way to beat the Florida summer temperatures than to cool off with a relaxing ride along Castaway Creek. I can almost feel the refreshing water and smell the sunscreen now. How fun!

You will be happy to know that you can bring a bag with you into the theme parks and water parks, as long as you follow the Park Rules. For your bag, you will want to make sure it is not larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high and no wagons are allowed. You can bring in snacks and beverages with you, just avoid glass containers (except for small ones like baby food jars), loose ice (ice packs and ice contained inside a zipped baggy is fine), and alcoholic beverages. Since security checks every bag before admittance, I like to place items in clear containers to make it a little easier for the Cast Members to see what is inside and speed the process up a bit.

There are lockers available to rent to store your items and there are two sizes available: Standard (12.5" x 10" x 17") for $10 per day and Large (15.5" x 13" x 17") for $15 per day (prices subject to change at any time). Keep those measurements in mind if you think locker rental is something that you will need.

I hope this helps, David! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
