    I want to come to Disneyworld with my 13 year old daughter in October for 10 days. We plan to stay at Pop. How busy is Columbus day weekend? Im concerned about crowds for that weekend and during the food and wine festival. Is Oct a good time to come?

    Ten days at Walt Disney World sounds like a great time!! October is one of my favorite times to visit.  The parks are decorated with a harvest theme, there are special Halloween related events, and it's time for Food & Wine Festival. 

    While the parks are noticeably more crowded on the Columbus Day Weekend, you're staying for a long enough time that it shouldn't affect your overall experience.  Yes, crowds will be heavy with guests trying to squeeze in a long weekend, but as soon as the holiday is over, guest attendance is much lower.
