We want to come to Disney California for the day on Monday July the 1st. We would also like to stay one night of Monday July the 1st. We willl depart July 2nd in the morning. We have 2 boys 10 and 14 years old. Can you help me with hotel & park

    Hello there Niamh,

Welcome to planDisney! We're so glad you stopped by with your question. I'm happy to hear that you're planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort in just a few months - it'll be here before you know it!

If you're planning on visiting the parks for one day and then staying that night at one of the hotels of the Disneyland Resort, then my recommendation would be to use the "Build Your Vacation" tool near the top of the page on the Disneyland Resort website

You'll be able to input the dates that you plan to visit and it'll walk you through booking your hotel, purchasing your theme park tickets, and making your theme park reservations

I have heard from some International Guests that they're unable to access certain sections of the Disneyland Resort website due to local rules and regulations. If that applies to you then I would recommend either calling a Cast Member at the Vacation Packages line or working through your local travel agent, if you have one.

If the dates of your visit are flexible, I'd recommend adding a second day to your visit! There is so much to see and do between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park that trying to fit everything into one day can sometimes feel pretty hectic.

If a second day isn't an option, I'd recommend adding the Park Hopper option and Disney Genie+ Service to your 1-day tickets to get some added convenience and flexibility during your visit. With the Park Hopper, you can start hopping between the two parks at 11:00 AM. With Disney Genie+ Service, you get a few added benefits - specifically the ability to book Lightning Lane return times for shorter waits.

Thanks again for your question, Niamh! I hope you have an excellent visit to the Happiest Place on Earth.

    Have a Magical Day,
    Greg
