Oi, Diogo!
Welcome to planDisney! It's great to help a fellow Brazilian here!
Congratulations on your move to Florida, Diogo. I hope you and your family have a wonderful time at the
Walt Disney World Resort for many years to come!
Your bank statements may be accepted as proof of Florida residency if you receive them through the mail at your Florida home. The
current policy informs us that Disney will accept mail from financial institutions (including checking, savings, or investment account statements) as proof of Florida residency. Still, it must contain the address of your permanent home in Florida. Please keep in mind that these statements cannot be more than two months old at the time of the purchase.
I'll give you an example that may help you understand this a little better: My husband had an account at an American bank for a while before moving to the United States, so he only received digital statements. These statements were never sent to any physical address, so they
would not have been accepted as proof of residency. Does that make sense to you?
It's also important to keep in mind that the Walt Disney World Resort is not selling
Annual Passes right now. This policy may change soon, so it's wise to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog to be among the first to know when sales resume.
If your wife doesn't have a driver's license or any of the
approved documentation when it's time to purchase your Annual Pass, no worries! You only have to provide proof that you both live in the same address in Florida. Nice, right?
I hope that this helps you and your family create a plan to enjoy
many years of joy! If you have more questions, please let us know. We're always here to help!
May the magic be with you,
Julie
