Hi Janessa!
We’re happy to roll out the red carpet for you as it’s your first visit to planDisney! One of my greatest privileges is being able to talk to Guests like yourself who are considering moving that Disney Cruise Line vacation from FANTASY to reality. It is a DREAM come true to be able to sail with Captain Mickey and to see the WONDER on your loved ones’ faces as they explore exotic destinations. There's absolutely nothing more MAGICal than that!
While Disney Cruise Line does not offer payment plans to finance your cruise, what I would suggest instead is creating a special account just for your cruise savings and place money in there. It’s amazing how much money you could put aside for your adventure at sea! Then you can totally make payments at any time once you have your cruise reservation either
online or
by phone. On the Disney Cruise Line website, you would select “Make a Payment” under the “Already Booked” tab, and log into your account.
Your main goal is to have your cruise paid off by the Payment in Full date. Then, when your
Advance Booking Window opens, you can make your reservations for extras like
Port Adventures,
specialty dining, and
spa treatments for your whole crew. That's where the real fun of cruise planning begins for me as we get into the details of our memory making.
Another way to save those Disney dollars for your cruise is to purchase Disney gift cards and use those for payments and onboard spending. That enables me to spread out my spending over several months and budget better for my travels. Did you know you can combine multiple gift cards onto one card? Once you create a
Disney Gift Card account, multiple cards can all be combined on a single card (up to $ 1000).
So if you decide after reading this that you have more questions, do not hesitate to reach back out to your pals here at planDisney.
SEA ya real soon!
