I wang to register DAC for my son and myself. Your website talks about DAC but what is the process to register it? Can somebody run me through how i can get it.

Hi there, Adnan! Welcome to planDisney!

With your trip just a few short days away, I'm going to send this along with some extra pixie dust! I believe you are asking about the Disability Access Service (DAS) which accommodates Guests with disabilities who have difficulty tolerating the wait times in traditional queues. Registering for DAS will allow you to enjoy the park and return to your attraction once it's time to board rather than wait in the standby line. You have the option to pre-register with DAS Advance or visit Guest Relations upon arrival to register in person. I would recommend the pre-registration process as a way to get all your Disneyland ducks in a row ahead of your trip. You can do this via a live chat with a Cast Member between 2 and 30 days in advance of your arrival. Let's take a look at what that process looks like!

To pre-register, start by logging into your account on the Disneyland website and ensure valid theme park tickets are linked for everyone in your party. I think it's easiest to find the DAS information by dropping DAS into the search bar in the top right-hand corner and then selecting "Disability Access Service". Here you will find all the details of the program! The live chat is available from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Disneyland time. When you're ready, be sure that the Guest requesting DAS is present and scroll to where you see "DAS Return Times in 3 Simple Steps". You'll see the first step is to register. Tap in there and click the link for pre-registration. On the next page, you will see the button to "Request Live Video Chat". Once you are connected to a Cast Member, they will help you to book 2 one-hour return windows for select attractions, subject to availability, for your party.

In addition to the two return windows you book in advance, you can book one additional same-day return window directly through the Disneyland Mobile App once you are in the parks. This acts as a rolling selection, meaning that once you use it, you can then book another one. The good news is that anyone in your party can make these, just keep in mind that the Guest using DAS must be present to redeem them. To access the DAS Return Time Self-Selection Tool, head into the park and open the app. Tap the three-bar menu in the bottom right-hand corner, select the "Disability Access Service (DAS)" button, and off you go!

You'll be arriving just before the holiday celebrations kick off, but you will still be able to enjoy Haunted Mansion Holiday to get in the spirit! Jack Skellington has taken over this favorite attraction with his Nightmare Before Christmas crew and you won't want to miss it! You'll want all your senses on high alert as you enter the ballroom - trust me!

Adnan, I sure hope this was helpful in your planning. I know it was a lot to take in. If you have any more questions, you can reach out to Disability Services directly at (407) 560-2547 or via email at disability.services@disneyland.com. If you have any more questions for us, we are always here for you at planDisney.

    Magic awaits!
