    We are going to Walt Disney World the week after Thanksgiving. It's our first time and we will be celebrating our son's birthday. Trying to figure out what is included with Mickey's very merry Christmas party.

    Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so excited for you and your family as you plan a very magical first trip to Walt Disney World. I'd also like to wish your son a very happy birthday. He's going to have such amazing and special memories of this birthday of his.

    Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a truly wonderful event that spreads a little extra pixie dust onto a holiday vacation to Walt Disney World. I'm looking forward to sharing it for the first time with my children in a few weeks. I've been a couple of times, but this will be their first time and I can't wait. Feel free to click on the link I have provided above for more detailed information on what's included and a list of special parades and entertainment that are exclusive to the party nights. Some of my favorites are Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade and Holiday Wishes. These offer the sights, sounds and even a scent or two of the holidays. Along with the special shows, you will also have access to many different rides and attractions. Keep in mind, though, that not all of the rides in the park will remain open for the party.

    Don't forget to get your complimentary hot cocoa and cookies at select locations that are noted on the special party event maps. These can be found at the entrance tunnels to Magic Kingdom and many retail and dining locations.
