    the walt Disney world site is not letting me look at dates in 2018. I'm trying to plan a trip for next year and need to start soon. will the web site let me do this or do I have to wait until 2018?

    Hi there, Kristal!

    It's exciting to hear you are eagerly awaiting to plan your next Walt Disney World Resort magical adventure. I know it's tough to wait when your're ready to begin piecing together the pixie dust, but unfortunately the 2018 vacation packages have not been released yet. There isn't a set date at when they'll become available, but historically, they have opened the next year's calendar sometime in the summer before. I know that isn't the best news when you're ready to begin planning now, but hopefully we'll hear something from the Disney Parks Blog soon.

    In the meantime, perhaps you'll find interest in the brand new experiences that will be waiting for you next year. Magic Kingdom Park is debuting a brand new fireworks show and Pandora - The World of Avatar will be open! I can't wait to see both!
