Does Walt Disney World Resorts ever offer Government discounts on stays or tickets?

    Hi Kimberly,

That's a great question. Right now, the only broad-based discount being offered for vacation packages or tickets at Walt Disney World is for active or retired members of the military. Sorry!

Now, I don't like to be the bearer of bad news unless I can offer a ray of sunshine at the same time...

If you don't see any special offers for the timeframe you'd like to visit Walt Disney World, still book your vacation because you never know what deals may be offered down the road.

You might be asking yourself, "Why would I book my Disney vacation now when there aren't any deals being offered???"

Here's a little tip from your buddy Derek:

As the time approaches for your Disney vacation, you can always call the Walt Disney World reservation line at (407) WDISNEY or (407) 934-7639 and ask if there are any special deals being offered during the time of your vacation. If so, you can ask to have them applied to your reservation and you'll be all set!

    [Insert ray of sunshine here!]

I hope that helps! If you should have any additional questions, please feel free to write back and I'll be happy to help in any way that I can.

    Best regards,
    Derek
