    Hello! We are going to be a the Walt Disney World Resort in just two months! I have purchased a separate ticket for some one that will be joining us at the parks. My question is can I link that ticket to one of our inactive Magic Bands?

    Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is not too far off and I am happy to help you with your plans. MagicBands are such a useful addition to a Walt Disney World Resort vacation because as you know, it makes enjoying your trip so easy. It's so nice to have access to your theme park tickets, FastPass+ reservations and Memory Maker account with just the touch of your MagicBand!

    Unfortunately, MagicBands are non-transferrable, meaning once they have been linked to a Guest's My Disney Experience account, they cannot be linked to another Guest's account even after they have been inactivated. So if you wanted a MagicBand for the Guest who will be joining you on your trip, you would need to purchase a new MagicBand online prior to your trip or at one of the shops at Walt Disney World Resort during your vacation.
