we are going to be at walt disney world resort from Dec 29 2012 to Jan2 2013 what site should we be for new years eve?

How exciting Sylvie!  New Years Eve at Walt Disney World is always a festive place to bring in the new year!  I have fond memories of spending my time in Epcot for the millennium!

You did not mention if you were a party of adults or if children would be joining you and if so what ages.  If you have younger children I strongly suggest you spend the day and evening on New Years Eve at the Magic Kingdom. It will be crowded all day and you must be careful to arrive early enough so you are not blocked from entering. This is one day of the year that the Magic Kingdom often has to close due to capacity and there is little warning. The parades will all be happening and shows and of course a great New Years fireworks show. The characters and cast will be helping all the younger guests have a great time on this special day.

If you have older children or just adults I suggest you spend the day in Epcot.  In this park you can actually purchase a glass of champagne to toast with your family at midnight while the great fireworks show is bursting into the skies!  It is more of an adult crowd and with the availability of alcohol purchases there will be many quite happy persons as well but it is still a fun place to celebrate.

These would be my suggestions.....Happy New Year a few months early but I will be thinking about you having a great time in my favorite place, Walt Disney World!
