Does Walt Disney World rent scooters for disabled people?

    Hello, Julie!

Welcome to planDisney with an important planning question. It looks like your fabulous vacation is just a few sleeps away. I can see that you are putting the finishing touches on those important plans. Soon you will be joining in all the fun of the World's Most Magical Celebration!

I am happy to tell you that all 4 theme parks, water parks,  and Disney Springs rent Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs) or scooters to Guests over the age of 18 with a photo ID. ECVs are available on a first-come, first-served basis, reservations are not taken. The rental area is near the theme park’s Main Entrance. ECVs cannot be taken from the location where they are rented, however, you can transfer your rental between locations. All rentals require a daily fee of $50 (subject to change) and a deposit of $20 at a theme park and $100 at Disney Springs (subject to change)

If you are a Guest of a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, you may want to consider renting an ECV from Disney’s Featured Provider, Scooterbug for the entire length of your stay. When you rent from the featured provider, you will not need to be present when your ECV is delivered. Cast Members will manage the pick-up and delivery for you.

All attraction queues can comfortably accommodate an ECV and Cast Members will assist you in the boarding and return process of all attractions. They will park your ECV for you in a designated location, but they are not responsible for any personal items left behind. I would advise you to take your key and belongings with you.

If you have any questions or need more assistance for Guests with mobility issues, contact the Disability Services Team at (407) 560-2547 or email disability.services@disneyparks.com.

    See ya real soon,
    Andrea
