Hello, Have Walt Disney World reinstated the service to send purchases made in the parks back to your resort? If not, is there any plan to bring this back?

    Hiya Louise!

Welcome to planDisney! Oh, what memories your stir in my mind about the wonders of the Resort Hotel Delivery and Merchandise Pick-Up services. How I loved shopping with no worry about the weight and size of an object as I loved just having it sent to my Walt Disney World Resort room

Unfortunately, this service has still not made its triumphant return. You will have to either carry your items or consider these easier alternatives. The first option is that you can rent a locker for the day until you are ready to go back to your room. The lockers can sell out especially if you want the larger ones so make sure to grab one early.

Another great option is to have your precious souvenirs shipped directly to your home right from the checkout counter.  Just speak with a Cast Member and for a small fee, they can arrange for you to have magic mail come your way. If I had known about this before I could have saved myself the agony of carrying a full set of stainless steel Mickey-themed utensils on my flight back home!

I hope this helps and you have a magical time!

    Happy Planning!

Hey, it's Nimmy from New York! Just like my guy Jiminy Cricket I am your wisecracking and helpful guide to making the best decisions for your Disney vacation! My husband and I work very hard to journey to our favorite place on Earth, Walt Disney World Resort, as much as we can. We have traveled as just adults, with babies, kids, teenagers, and senior citizens. We have seen so many characters, eaten at amazing places, and consumed a ton of Dole Whips. So "give a little whistle" and let me be your guide! Learn More About Nimmy
