Are Walt Disney World Parks open New Years Eve, Dec. 31st?

    Hello, Glenda!

There is no better way to ring in 2017 than spending New Year's Eve at Walt Disney World Resort! All four theme parks will be open so you can celebrate with friends and family riding favorite attractions, meeting beloved characters or watching special holiday versions of fireworks. In past years, Magic Kingdom has had a special pyrotechnic display at 11:50 P.M. called Fantasy in the Sky on both December 30 and 31. Hours of operation and entertainment offerings can be found using the My Disney Experience mobile app or online entertainment schedule. Also, keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog to stay up-to-date with the latest merchandise, food and entertainment that may be available during your visit!

    Happy New Year!
