We are going to Walt Disney World park. We would like to save money and bring our drinks and packed lunches in with us. Do they let us do that? Will all the Disney Parks have a place to put a cooler? Any other suggestions on saving money?

    Hi there Tonya!

Bringing snack and drinks into the park is a great way to pinch pennies on your Walt Disney World vacation!  Personal coolers are absolutely permitted as long as they are the small, soft-sided type.  Please note that hard-sided coolers and glass containers are not permitted!  Personal lockers are available at each of the theme parks and if you decide to rent one for storing your cooler, I recommend choosing the larger size to ensure plenty of space for the cooler and any extra items you wish to store!

In order to stretch your dollar a little farther, I suggest bringing basic items such as sunscreen, batteries, ponchos, snacks, and waters with you from home!  If you're a coffee drinker, it is a good idea to invest in some of those instant coffee packs as well and we also enjoy the lemonade and other various juice packets you add to water.

You can also purchase souvenir items prior to your vacation.  This will save a substantial amount of money and this way you can limit in-park shopping to a few special items!

Another great money-saving tip is to eat breakfast in your room, or have a breakfast picnic on the lawn at your resort!  You can bring cold breakfast items such as cereal, fruit, pastries, etc. from home which will help you avoid paying out of pocket for breakfast at a restaurant or food court.  Milk and other basic grocery items are always available in your resort's store or food court area!

    Best Wishes,
