Walt Disney World Park Pass Reservations are open through 2024. You have to have to purchase a park ticket to reserve your park pass. How can I reserve park passes, if I want to buy an annual pass for 2024 year only (which are not currently available)?

    Hello Stephanie!

I can tell that you love planning for your future Walt Disney World vacations! Yes, you need valid Walt Disney World Tickets or an Annual Pass to make Theme Park Reservations. Since Annual Passes are not an option at the moment, there is an excellent way to get your Theme Park Reservations for 2024 without purchasing an Annual Pass.

First, you will need to decide how many days you want to have park passes on your first Walt Disney World vacation in 2024. Then you will have to purchase Walt Disney World tickets for each of those days (for up to 10 days). Next, link your tickets to your My Disney Experience Account. Now you can make your Theme Park Reservations for your 2024 Walt Disney World vacation. Then on the first day of your 2024 Walt Disney World vacation, you can go to Guest Services at any of the Theme Parks or Disney Springs and get the value of your tickets deducted from the price of your Annual Pass (if Walt Disney World is selling Annual Passes at that time). You will pay the difference between the cost of the Annual Pass and the value of your Walt Disney World Tickets.

I purchased a 6-day Walt Disney World Ticket for the end of September to the beginning of October of 2021. I went to Guest Services at Disney Springs on my first day of vacation and got the value of my 6-day tickets applied to my new Walt Disney World Annual Pass. I just paid the difference. This strategy worked great!

I hope that planning your next Walt Disney World vacation gives you excitement and joy!
