Hi Danielle!
It sounds like you are just as excited about the opening of
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge as I am! I can't wait to journey to a galaxy far, far away to visit Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu. Are you brushing up on your Aurebesh? I know mine is a bit rusty, so be sure to download the
Play Disney Parks mobile app so you can take advantage of
Star Wars: Datapad and use its translation tool as you explore the land!
When
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opened at Disneyland Resort earlier this summer, it used a reservation system for Guests wishing to visit during the first few weeks. Walt Disney World Resort will not have a reservation system when it opens on August 29 and unfortunately, there is no way to guarantee your entry into the land. If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, I would recommend taking advantage of
extra, Extra Magic Hours to see
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.
From September 1 to November 2,
Disney's Hollywood Studios will have extra, Extra Magic Hours, where the theme park will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., providing exclusive access for Disney Resort hotel Guests. I recommend that you plan on arriving early, even before the start of extra, Extra Magic Hours opens, as I expect
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge will be very busy!
Be sure to follow the
Disney Parks Blog as your trip approaches for the latest news and announcements about the opening of
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Walt Disney World Resort and other magical things you will be able to experience during your vacation. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
