AHOY, James! I see your crew be pirates, seeking the company of our brave leader, Captain James Hook! Fortunately for you, I know of two places you can see Captain Hook and a third where your young son can channel him, too!
You can spy Captain Hook and and Mr. Smee each day in Magic Kingdom during the afternoon Festival of Fantasy parade. Keep watch for Peter Pan and Captain Hook as they make their way through the park. Grab seats on the Castle corner near Liberty Square to see the parade wrap around you and sprinkle pixie dust as they pass! After the parade, make your way into Adventureland for your scheduled appointment at
The Pirates League. My son experienced the Cpt. Hook makeover and was busting with pride! Here, you can join the accord and be made into a pirate, complete with Captain Hook makeup, ensemble, Pirate Ceremony and a special treat that you will have to see… buried treasure, mate; I canny say no more!
Lastly, if you wish to mingle with Captain Hook and Smee, eat snacks, and have a treasure voyage, booking a
Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage is the key for you. There, you can play games, quench your thirst with Pirate Punch, and sign up to be a recruit, and have photos with the Captain himself. “So come and sign the book, join up with Captain Hook!” I know you and your family will adore the views of Happily Ever After over Cinderella Castle as you sail with your fellow pirates; it’s truly “the grandest display in Magic Kingdom park history.”
I hope there be fair sailing on yer’ journey to Walt Disney World Resort, and if I can be your compass, hoist the flag and I’ll deploy the dingy boat, straight away! Have a magical trip! ~ Lindsey P.
