Hi Amy!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about
Cinderella's Royal Table at Magic Kingdom Park - one of my very favorite Character dining experiences in all of Walt Disney World Resort!
Dining at Cinderella's Royal Table is such an amazing experience. Not only do you get to go INSIDE the gorgeous castle, but you're treated like royalty from start to finish! After you check in at the hostess stand, you'll be led into the Grand Hall and greeted by Cinderella herself. When your Royal Family's name is called, you'll head up a beautiful spiral staircase (or a lovely elevator, if needed) to the majestic dining room with soaring ceilings and a view of Fantasyland through stained-glass windows. It's truly breathtaking! An amazing assortment of Disney royalty is on hand, as Disney Princesses stop by and visit with each table for autographs and photos.
At this time, guests are still given wands or toy swords during the meal. During your meal, the Fairy Godmother will appear for a "Wishing Ceremony", where guests are asked to wave their wands/swords and make a wish on a Wishing Star. Make sure to look up, as lights will twinkle all over the room, creating a magical moment for everyone.
I'll admit, I dined at Cinderella's Royal Table with a group of adults last spring, and we requested wands. "Adults are only kids grown up, anyway" is a quote from Walt Disney himself, and I embrace it! We loved participating in the magic, and I passed my wand along to a little girl later in the day - what a smile I received as a "thank you"!
I hope you have an amazing visit to Cinderella's Royal Table on your Walt Disney World vacation! Have a magical day!
