We are going to Walt disney world for the first time in June and I am booking our fast passes and dining reservations but it seems that all the best restaurants particularly Cinderella's Royal ball is booked up do they accept walk in dining what's the best

    Hi Kimberly:

It's very disappointing that you cannot get reservations at Cinderella's Royal Table.  It's one of Disney World's most popular restaurants, so I'm not surprised that reservations book up that early.  What I would do is to book a reservation at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall at Epcot where your family can experience a special princess-themed character meal for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.  I would then check for Cinderella Royal Table availability periodically.  Cancelations happen, and there is a chance you can grab a reservation due to a cancelation.  Being flexible with your dining times can really increase your chances of getting a table.

In the vast majority of cases, I've found that it's possible to walk up to a Disney Restaurant and wait.  You may be asked to wait for a while, so be prepared.  However, in a handful of cases, I've seen the front desk at a restaurant tell Guests that they will absolutely not have room that evening and they are not accepting walk ups.  So also be prepared to dine elsewhere if you take the chance on a walk up.  Your chances on securing a walk up will depend on crowd levels and cancelations that evening.  Your best bet for a walk up would be to head to the restaurant early to get your name down.  But if you are traveling with younger members in your party who may need a set dining time or may not be as flexible if you are unable to secure a walk up, you may not want to take the chance.

    Enjoy your vacation.
