    Hi, . We will be going to Walt Disney World for the first time in April 2013. This may sound like a crazy question but I want to make sure. We need to have park tickets to dine in the park, correct? Looking for a place to. have dinner on arrival day

    Hi Dawn, 

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  Congratulations on your first trip to Walt Disney World Resort!  It's going to be here before you know it!  You are absolutely correct Dawn.  In order to dine in one of the Theme Parks, you do need to have admission to the Theme Park for that day.  

    Some other options would be to dine at any one of the Walt Disney World Resorts or Downtown Disney.  Personally, I like to dine at my resort on arrival day, it is a nice way to get to know your home away from home for the length of your stay, and it allows for a somewhat relaxed day after your travels.  The next morning, you can wake up early ready to head out to one of the Theme Parks!
