    we're going to Walt Disney world on Easter week 2013 ,for 9 days,we have a 5yr old & a 7 year old, will be in the parks every day at opening till closing ,which makes for very long days.would it be a good idea to take some kind of a stroller at there a

    Hi Robert,

    Like you, when my family visit Walt Disney World, we are generally at the parks in time for park opening until closing time.

    My Son was 6-years old the first time that we took him to Walt Disney World and although I shared your concerns, I was pleasantly surprised at just how well he coped with the long days, warm weather and amount of walking.

    Obviously every child is different. I would recommend that you see how your children handle you first day at the Disney Parks to get an idea of how they will be able to manage. If you feel that they need a stroller, they are available for rent at a variety of locations throughout Disney Theme Parks, Disney Water Parks and the Downtown Disney Area. Quantities are limited and subject to availability. (Double-passenger strollers are not available for rent at the Downtown Disney Area.)

    The stroller rental fee is:

    $15.00 USD per day for a single-passenger stroller
    $31.00 USD per day for a double-passenger stroller
    $100 USD credit card deposit is required per strollers rented at the Downtown Disney Area. The rented stroller must be returned to the original rental location to receive a credit card deposit refund.

    For Guests who require a stroller rental for multiple days, Disney do offer a length of stay rental ticket where you make a one-time payment transaction for as many days of rental as you will need. Upon visiting a Disney Theme Park, show your receipt at the stroller rental location and you will be expedited through the queue with a reduced wait time.

    The multiple day rental fee is:

    $13.00 USD per day for a single-passenger stroller
    $27.00 USD per day for a double-passenger stroller
