We will be at Walt Disney World in early March and were wondering if they still hold the Beignet Run on Sundays at the Port Orleans?

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Susan!

Wow, I have to admit, I’ve not had the opportunity to partake in the Beignet Fun Run, but you can count me in on my next vacation! I’m not sure what I’m most excited for… the finisher's medallion or the beignet (okay, lets be honest, it's the beignet).

In short, the answer to your question is yes! Most Sundays, other than those Sundays that fall on a runDisney race weekend, the Beignet Fun Run is in full force. Check-in begins at 7:30 AM and the run begins at 8:00 AM. However, be sure to register in advance for this event.

If you feel like spending a little more time at the resort after your run, head into Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory and grab yourself a Mickey-shaped waffle!

If you have any other questions, please let us know. Have a magical day!
