Hi Sydney,
Welcome to planDisney!
I am delighted to see that you have a trip planned to the Walt Disney World® Resort in early December! The
Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort are a wonderful time of year to visit. When we have visited in December on non-party nights, we have been able to see fireworks. Just keep an eye on the calendars for the
Happily Ever After fireworks at Magic Kingdom and
Luminous The Symphony of Us in EPCOT. As of today, those calendars display the fireworks schedule through the end of November.
On November 28th at Magic Kingdom, for example,
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is not scheduled. The
Happily Ever After fireworks are scheduled for 8:00 p.m. Magic Kingdom is also home to the
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade. The calendar currently extends to November 2nd with the parade scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on that day. I also always check the standard park hours calendar using the 5-Day view because sometimes, this will let you see a few more days in advance. When I checked the
park hours calendar, the Happily Ever After fireworks are also currently scheduled for December 2nd at 8:00 p.m.
Sydney, in the spirit of Tiana, you are
almost there! Just keep checking those calendars and you should be able to see information for the dates of your visit soon. As you continue to plan, I have another suggestion as well. Consider making an
advanced dining reservation at
California Grill for a time that would allow you to enjoy the fireworks at Magic Kingdom while dining at the restaurant. My girls and I absolutely love dining here during the Happily Ever After fireworks. Just keep an eye on the park hours calendar even after your dates are displayed because schedules could change. In the meantime, keep up the
practically perfect planning!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
