Hiya, Rachel! Thanks for bringing your spook-tacular question to planDisney!
It sounds like you’re ready for some frightful fun, and I have to admit that I am, too! The hint of fall is in the air, and all I can think of is pumpkin spice everything, leaves changing color, and of course, Halloween! I’m happy to report that the
Walt Disney World Resort is also busily preparing for the fall season and Halloween! I spoke with a Cast Member, and she told me that the theme parks will be featuring fall and Halloween decor this year.
Unfortunately, Walt Disney World made the difficult decision
to cancel this year’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, since many of the highlights of the special event (such as stage shows, parades, and fireworks) simply can’t take place right now during these unprecedented times. If you already purchased tickets for
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, the Walt Disney World Resort will be reaching out to you to assist with a refund. Despite this news, I’m looking forward to experiencing some mischievous mayhem in the theme parks thanks to spooky decorations and wickedly fun Halloween merchandise and treats!
Speaking of Halloween merchandise, have you seen
the latest boo-tiful merchandise on
shopDisney.com? Most of it can be found online, at Disney Springs, and at Walt Disney World Resort. You won’t want to miss the
Halloween Shop online, where you can shop the spookiest looks from the comfort of your home!
I also found the perfect way to get in the Halloween spirit! Check out
these dreadfully-delightful recipes from the
Disney Parks Blog… I can taste those
Pumpkin Bars now!
Boo to you, Rachel!
