I am going to the Walt Disney World for Christmas, and one of the hotels that seemed cool was the Fort Wilderness Cabins. As I looked on the map I noticed that the bus stop seemed far from the cabins. I was wondering if the walk is really that long?

    Hello Chowder!

You are going to LOVE visiting Walt Disney World during the Christmas season!  It is truly MAGICAL in every way!

My family stayed in a cabin at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort last May, and we loved it!  The cabin areas are set up in circles, so there are some cabins that are farther from the bus stops.  Because I have five kids, I wanted to at least do all I could to make sure we were in a cabin closest to a bus stop.  So, I called 407-W-DISNEY and made a special request to a Cast Member to see if my family could stay in a cabin close to a bus stop.  While special requests cannot be guaranteed, I can tell you my wish was granted!  Our cabin was just a hop, skip, and a jump from a bus stop!  It was perfect!  So, give Walt Disney World a call!  I KNOW they will try their very best to grant your special request!

If you have other questions, please let me know!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
