Hi Kathy,
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney! While there isn’t an official calendar of events for Walt Disney World, we do have some details on what is coming in 2026.
Disney Parks Blog recently posted an article sharing
dates and information about returning festivals and when some attractions will reopen after refurbishment.
Starting in early 2026, the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts will run from January 16 to February 23, 2026. Dates for
Disney After Hours events have also been announced for Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, and Hollywood Studios for various nights throughout the year, beginning in January. Just a few weeks after the Festival of the Arts wraps up, the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will bloom, beginning March 4 and ending June 1. Over in Magic Kingdom, Disney Parks Blog announced that Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin will reopen in spring 2026. The
Disney Water Park Seasonal Pass is also available, valid for use through May 9, 2026. This pass also includes perks like access to mini golf and discounted same-day rentals of Polar Patios and Beachcomber Shacks, subject to availability.
Cool Kids’ Summer is returning in 2026, along with free Disney Water Park admission on your Disney Resort arrival day. You can also see Typhoon Lagoon in a different light with Disney H2O Glow After Hours during the summer. Official dates have not been announced yet, but keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for dates to be released. My family is most excited to see
Bluey and Bingo meeting guests in Animal Kingdom in summer 2026. In EPCOT, you can experience Soarin’ Across America, expected to take off by Memorial Day. Hollywood Studios will also have exciting arrivals, from Mandalorian and Grogu on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, the Muppets on Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, and Mickey and his pals in the Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! show. And I can’t wait to see The Magic of Disney Animation to meet characters and step inside Walt Disney Studios.
Fall 2026 will bring the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival and
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, followed by winter holiday celebrations in the parks. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, and Disney Jollywood Nights will all return in winter 2026!
A lot is happening in 2026, Kathy! It looks like you have a future trip planned for early 2026, but if you are interested in planning another visit to Walt Disney World, make sure you visit the
Special Offers page to see what offers and discounts are available for your dates! And of course, we’ll be here at
