Welcome, Elizabeth! We are so glad you visited us here at planDisney!
I see that your visit to "The Happiest Place on Earth" may have already started but I wanted to offer a few tips for your stay to the
Disneyland Resort. As a
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder, you are likely enjoying all the differences between Disney World and
Disneyland. It's fun to see the contrast, even in the exteriors, of the
"it's a small world" and
Haunted Mansion attractions. And you must visit the recently opened
Adventureland Treehouse inspired by Walt Disney’s Swiss Family Robinson; the details are simply breathtaking! Please say "hi" to Jane the ostrich for me!
Elizabeth, to answer your question, there may be walk-up seating available at some
dining locations in the resort but it is not guaranteed. I recommend arriving at your desired dining location close to that day's opening time and asking a Cast Member if you can join the walk-up list. Note, that some locations, like
Lamplight Lounge in
Disney California Adventure Park and
Oga's Cantina in
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge may allow you to join the walk-up list from the
Disneyland Mobile App, but you must be within a certain distance of the restaurant in order to do so.
I have also found luck snagging a last minute dining reservation the night before (or even the morning of!) my visit. You can check dining availability in the Disneyland Mobile App or on the
Disneyland website. Being flexible with your time and/or dining location, may help you grab a coveted spot at
Napa Rose in
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa or enjoy
character dining at the
Plaza Inn inside
Disneyland Park.
Elizabeth, if all else fails, some of my favorites days include snacking around the parks. Grab a Garlic Cheesy Pretzel Bread from
Edelweiss Snacks in Fantasyland or a Corn Dog from
Corn Dog Castle in Disney California Adventure Park. Both of these locations offer mobile ordering in the app, so you can choose a pickup time that fits your needs!
May your Disneyland visit be filled with Pixie Dust!
