Art of Animation Pool Resorts; night

    Where in Walt Disney World are we able to encounter Lightning McQueen and other Cars (original) characters? We have found Art of Animation but nothing else.

    Hi there, Melissa and welcome to planDisney! When my little prince was growing up the Cars characters were his favorite and we always had to make sure to Lightning on our visits.

    Currently, Disney's Art of Animation Resort is the only place at Walt Disney World where you can see and snap photos with Lightning McQueen, Sally Carrera, Doc Hudson, Ramone, Fillmore, Sarge, and Guido in the Cars section of the resort. 

    Take a stroll through Radiator Springs at the resort to check out the incredible life-size Cars characters and themed buildings that make you feel like you've stepped right into Disney-Pixar’s Cars movie! Plus, if you're staying at the resort, be sure to cool off at the Cozy Cone Pool, featuring cone-shaped cabanas for the ultimate pit stop and relaxation!

    Melissa, there are also two new attractions on the horizon for Magic Kingdom in Frontierland. One is geared toward little racers and the whole family, whereas the other is for more experienced racers.  Construction for this new area will begin sometime in early 2025.
