    is there a walmart or publix near wdw

    There are a number of Publix stores in close proximity to the Walt Disney World Resort, Keith.  The closest one is about four miles away, though, so it's definitely not within walking distance.  If you're looking to take a trip there, your best bet would be to take a taxi.  The closest Wal-Mart is about 6.5 miles away.  There's also a Target about five miles away. 

    If you'd rather not pay for the taxi you can always shop your resort's gift shop for supplies like dry cereal, milk and sunscreen.  You will pay a premium for the convenience but it might be less expensive than paying taxi fare.  Another option would be to place an order with a grocery delivery service.  There are a handful of options available; Google "Orlando grocery delivery" if you'd like to go that route.
