Hello Victoria!
Welcome back to planDisney and thank you for bringing us your vacation planning question. It sounds like you are planning another magical
Walt Disney World Resort holiday, and I'm here to help! I'm excited to hear that you'll be staying at
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, as it's one of my favorite Moderate Disney Resort hotels. There's nothing better than being a quick boat ride away from
Disney Springs and having the ability to enjoy unlimited beignets during your stay!
Victoria, I've used grocery
delivery services countless times during my visits to The Most Magical Place on Earth. It's wonderful to enjoy some familiar conveniences from home during your Resort hotel stay. In my experience, you will not need to include your Resort hotel confirmation number on your grocery delivery order. Simply include the mailing address of your Resort hotel and be sure that the name on the order matches the name on your Resort hotel reservation. I think adding the Resort hotel's phone number as a contact would be acceptable, as the Front Desk could contact you if any issues were to arise.
When I've placed grocery delivery orders previously, I've met the deliverer at the lobby and received my order myself. However, if you know you'll be unable to meet your deliverer, the Resort hotel will accept your delivery in your absence and will charge you a small handling fee. Then, you can either request that Bell Services deliver your order directly to your Resort hotel room, or you may pick up your order from the Front Desk at a later time. However, if your order includes alcohol, you'll need to make arrangements to accept the order yourself, as the Resort hotel will not accept these orders on your behalf.
Victoria, I hope this information is helpful to you as you continue to plan your magical stay at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. If you have any additional planning questions, please feel free to stop back by planDisney anytime - we're happy to help! I'm wishing you a most magical and memorable holiday at Walt Disney World Resort.
Warm wishes,
Lauren
