Hi Patricia! You’re asking about two of my favorite places –
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa and
Magic Kingdom Park! I was so excited when the walking path opened a few years ago, finally connecting these two happy places!
I am happy to share that the walking path connecting Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa and Magic Kingdom Park is open! We were there just two weeks ago! My wife “ducked out” of Magic Kingdom a little early one night to enjoy the leisurely stroll back to the resort hotel. The path takes about 12 to 15 minutes moving at a walking pace. It is a very picturesque walk with views of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, Disney’s Polynesian Resort (next to the Grand Floridian), Disney’s Contemporary Resort (in the distance), the Monorail loop, and Magic Kingdom Park.
Patricia, keep in mind that you can also use the
Monorail to travel between Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa and Magic Kingdom Park. When you board the Monorail at the hotel, Magic Kingdom Park is the first stop. When you leave Magic Kingdom Park, the hotel is the fourth stop along the Monorail loop!
Dreams do come true!
