Hiya Gloria,
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for submitting your question to us.
“This is Halloween”!
Halloween Time will return to haunt the parks on August 23, 2024 (date subject to change)! Be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog as they will post the
Disney Eats: Foodie Guides for both Halloween and
Oogie Boogie Bash, as well as exclusive merchandise and special offerings in the parks.
According to the
Disneyland Resort Rules, walking poles are not listed as a prohibited item. However, the Disneyland Resort “reserves the right to prohibit the use or storage of any other item not listed above that we determine may be harmful or disruptive, in our sole and absolute discretion”. I have seen Guests enter the parks with walking sticks and canes, but it will be at the discretion of
Disneyland Resort security whether they view your walking pole as a potentially prohibited item.
If your walking pole is not allowed and you require
mobility assistance, the Disneyland Resort offers accommodations for Guests! The Disneyland Resort has
Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs) and wheelchairs available to rent on the east side of the main entrance. ECVs are available on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be reserved. I recommend arriving early and going straight to the ECV rental to secure the ECVs before entering the parks. Guests can also bring and use their own ECVs and/or wheelchairs.
If you have other questions about the Disneyland Resort, remember - you’ve got a friend in me!
