what is the walking distance between the Paradise Pier Hotel and the Disneyland maingate?

Greetings, Andrea! If you are planning on staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel during your visit, then you are making a great choice!

Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel is a delightful hotel complete with seaside-themed rooms and decor (I particularly like the beach ball pillows!). The best route is to head out the hotel back exit, turn right, and follow the walkway toward the Disneyland Hotel and Downtown Disney District. You will encounter a security checkpoint at the entrance of the Downtown Disney District, so be prepared to open any bags or purses and to go through metal detectors. After that, you will stroll down the Downtown Disney District on your way to the Disneyland Park main entrance. The distance is a little over half a mile and when I stayed at this hotel, the walk took me about 10-15 minutes, not including time at the security checkpoint. And that is also without stopping at the enticing shops and restaurants along the way.

Another option would be to board the Disneyland Monorail at the station near The LEGO Store. The monorail will take you inside Disneyland Park and drop you off in Tomorrowland, so valid theme park admission is required to ride the monorail.

I hope you have a wonderful time at the Disneyland Resort!
