What is the walking difference from standard room to preferred room at POR? Traveling with two 5yr boys, and 16D.

    Hi Miranda!

We love Port Orleans - Riverside!  It's our favorite resort!  Riverside is a very large resort, so, as you can imagine, the walking distances can vary greatly.  Sometimes you can be fortunate enough to get a building very near a preferred building, so your walking distance won't be much different, or you could end up with a good 10 minute walk.

If you're planning on having a stroller for the boys, I wouldn't worry about distance from the main buildings, as you can always put them in and stroll to the room.  My sons were 8 and 5 on our last vacation, and we had quite a walk from our room to the main buildings, but neither complained.  If you've go avid walkers (or even runners), you should be fine!

    Have a magical vacation!
