Is walking from All-Star Movies Resort to Coronado Springs Resort for dinner at Maya Grill doable instead of taking the bus which looks like it takes us to Magic Kingdom first and then to Coronado Springs?

    Hi Erin,

Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your great question about transportation. I am happy to help answer your question today!

Can you believe your trip is almost here?  In just a couple of days you will be right in the Middle of the Magic making sweet memories that you will cherish forever. You are going to love staying at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort!  With its larger-than-life Disney movie characters decorating this Resort, it is sure to bring out the inner child in everyone.

Technically, you can walk approximately 2+ miles from the All-Star Resort area to Disney's Coronado Springs Resort along a walking path.  However, in July I wouldn't want to do this myself, especially if I was traveling with my children.  If you are seeking complimentary transportation, then your fastest option would be to take Walt Disney World Bus Service Transportation to Disney's Animal Kingdom then take another bus from there to Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.  When using bus service to hop from one Disney Resort hotel to another, I always recommend allowing 1 to 1.5 hours to ensure you will have enough time to make it to your reservations.  However, the quickest way to get there from your Resort hotel is to use a rideshare option.  I have used rideshares many times at the Walt Disney World Resort, especially when I am traveling from one Disney Resort hotel to another.  Disney has their own rideshare option, which I simply adore and have taken in the past, called the Minnie Van and it is connected with the rideshare Lyft.  The first time I used it, my friends and I actually took pictures with it because it was so cute!

Have a Magical vacation, Erin!  Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always thrilled to help you plan your adventure.
