Hi Megan!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
There is a very lovely walking trail that connects
Disney's Wilderness Lodge with
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, but I'm sorry to say that this is currently closed due to the construction taking place between the two Resorts. I am hoping it will re-open once the construction is finished because it is a really nice place to take a relaxing stroll while enjoying some time away from the parks. Meanwhile there are other options for making your way to the
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. One of my favourite boat rides at Walt Disney World Resort is the one between Disney's Wilderness Lodge and Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, which also makes a stop at Disney's Contemporary Resort. It's such a pretty ride, and so convenient for Pioneer Hall because that is located fairly close to the Boat Dock at Fort Wilderness. If you prefer to travel by bus, there is a direct bus route available too. If you fancy travelling in distinctive style, you could book a
Minnie Van! By downloading the Lyft app on your smartphone you can order a Minnie Van, see the cost of using this service and also make advance payment. They are driven by knowledgeable and friendly Disney Cast Members and offer the best door-to-door service for up to 6 Guests (with 2 child seats if required). It's very nice to have a lot of options, but I would prefer to use the boat for this journey, because it's a relaxing ride that will take you very close to your destination. Disney's Fort Wilderness is a large Resort -
here is an interactive map so you can see where you need to go.
Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World Resort.
