Can I walk to any theme park from jw Marriott

Hi there, Rich. Welcome to planDisney and thanks for sharing your question with us. I’m happy to help you find your way around the Vacation Kingdom.

I looked up the JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort and Spa on the My Disney Experience mobile app map and it appears that there is not a walking route from the hotel to any of the Walt Disney World theme parks. I also took a look at the hotel’s website, and it doesn’t list any Walt Disney World transportation options, such as the complimentary bus service, on its overview page.

If you are interested in being able to walk to a theme park from your hotel, then these resorts might be an option for you.

Walking Distance from the Magic Kingdom:
    - Polynesian Village Resort
    - Polynesian Village Villas and Bungalows
    - Contemporary Resort
    - Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
    - Grand Floridian Resort
    - The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa

    Walking Distance from EPCOT:
    - Beach Club Resort
    - Beach Club Villas
    - BoardWalk Inn
    - BoardWalk
    - Yacht Club Resort
    - Walt Disney World Swan Hotel
    - Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel
    - Walt Disney World Swan Reserve

    Walking Distance from Hollywood Studios:
    - Beach Club Resort
    - Beach Club Villas
    - BoardWalk Inn
    - BoardWalk
    - Yacht Club Resort
    - Walt Disney World Swan Hotel
    - Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel
    - Walt Disney World Swan Reserve

The walking time between these resorts and the theme parks varies, but I looked up directions on the My Disney Experience mobile app (a very handy feature) and many of the suggested walking routes take between 15 and 30 minutes. All of these resorts offer complimentary bus service to the parks, and some include other modes of transportation like water taxis, the monorail, and proximity to the Skyliner (transportation offerings vary by location).

Rich, I hope this information helps with your vacation planning. Come right back if you have any other questions or need any recommendations. We’re always happy to help at planDisney!

    Magical travels!
